The spring edition of API China 2006, China's leading exhibition for the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector covering the complete spectrum of products from raw material, fine chemical, intermediate, ingredients, processing machinery and packaging machinery, will be held at the New International Convention & Exposition at Chengdu from 18-20th of May, this year.
Sources said over 1,100 manufacturers, 32,083 professional visitors from 30 countries had participated in the API China 2005 Hangzhou (Autumn show) held from 15-17 November 2005. More exhibitors and visitors are expected to participate in the new edition of the fair, according to the organisers.
The conference programme as part of the show will have professionals and high level corporate delegates gather to discuss and share case studies on the pharmaceutical industry chain, laws and regulations of drug administration, export and import information, outsourcing and contract research organization, CRO as well as research and development of new medicines.
The conference programme for the event will include an overview of the China pharmaceutical market, trends in the world pharmaceutical ingredients market, analysis of China APIs' import and export trend in 2005, the qualifications of Chinese pharmaceutical industries for API outsourcing, the effect of business-culture differences between Chinese and western on the contract manufacturing service in the initial stages of cooperation, the effect of the higher exchange rate of RMB to USD for API outsourcing and strategy for outsourcing markets, case analysis on the API outsourcing in China, overview of USP and its role in regulating and promoting quality of pharmaceuticals in US, the outsourcing experience of Hisun Pharmaceutical etc.
